Sailors from Special Boat Team 20 helped rescue nine people from an overturned tourist boat in the Delaware River. The Navy crewmembers worked together with the Coast Guard, Philadelphia Police and fire rescue teams. The boat was struck by a barge and capsized, throwing 35 passengers and two crewmembers in the water. |

Crewmembers from U.S. Coast Guard Station Cleveland Harbor provide a safety and security zone during the Cleveland Tall Ships Festival. Station Cleveland Harbor crewmembers utilized a 25-foot Response Boat-Small (RB-S) and 41-foot Utility Boat (UTB) to provide a perimeter for the tall ships moored and underway in the Cleveland Harbor area. |

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- National Park Service Veterinarian Dr. Jenny Powers and Cassidy Lejeune of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries release brown pelicans at Fort De Soto Park near St. Petersburg. In total, 32 brown pelicans were rescued after being found oiled near Louisiana's coast, and were then rehabilitated at Fort Jackson, La., before being released in Tampa Bay. |

Petty Officer 2nd Class Julio Castro, a boatswain’s mates and boarding team member from the Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk, practices his boarding skills aboard the Royal Moroccan Navy’s ship the Mohammed V, off the coast of West Africa. The Mohawk and the Mohammed V worked together for two days by doing practice scenarios and boarding each others vessels. |

Second class cadets Joseph Dillier, Jamie Wright and Brett Godiksen held the portraits of the fallen aircrew of CG 6017 during a brief memorial service in honor of the fallen aircrew on the Washington Parade Field. Rear Adm. J. Scott Burhoe, superintendent of the Academy, gave brief remarks followed by the observation of colors. The National Ensign was placed at half-staff to honor the crew. The Corps of Cadets, officer candidates, swabs, and AIM students were all aligned in formation surrounding the flag pole for the memorial. |

A Coast Guard 25-foot response boat crew from Station Quillayute River, Wash., along with local emergency response personnel search the water near James Island, Wash., for crew members and wreckage from a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter. The crew of the helicopter was returning to Sitka, Alaska, when the Coast Guard lost contact with them. |

Ensign Brian Baffer, the damage control assist aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk, and Petty Officer 1st Class Brandon Orlowicz, a maritime enforcement specialist aboard the Mohawk, repair a broken desk at the Fatima Fihriyya Primary School in Casablanca, Morocco. The crew refurbished or rebuilt 55 two-seater desks, repainted two classrooms, replaced inoperative lighting fixtures and rebuilt the basketball hoops and backboards in the courtyard. |

The Kodiak-based 52-foot long-lining fishing vessel Nakat is engulfed in flames about 80 miles southwest of Kodiak. Four men were able to disembark the vessel into a life raft who were then hoisted by an Air Station Kodiak aircrew. |
